TWASE (Twase Women Development Trust)

Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education Program

This is a project that is designed to teach about the menstrual cycle, hygiene practices, and the importance of proper sanitation facilities and disposal of menstrual products.

The Education about menstruation aims to let people know about menstruation and all the changes that occur, being ready for them, and how to handle them.

In the school setup, menstrual hygiene education aims to let pupils and young girls get knowledge about menstruation to avoid girls missing classes due to stigma from boys, and other cultural norms/taboos.
