✨ KEY COMPONENTS: Menstrual Hygiene Education Program ✨
1. Engaging School Administrators: TWASE collaborates closely with school administration officials to ensure effective program implementation and support.
2. Empowering Youth: Our program educates both girls and boys aged 9-16 about menstrual hygiene, utilizing an informative PDF document that serves as a handy reference for all students in attendance.
3. Innovative Training on Reusable Sanitary Pads: Participants will learn how to create reusable sanitary pads using locally available materials, promoting sustainability and self-sufficiency.
4. Establishing Menstrual Hygiene Clubs: We will form dedicated Menstrual Hygiene Clubs, empowering students to take charge by electing club leaders who will champion the cause.
5. Collaborative Meetings with School Administrators: We will hold discussions with school administrators to emphasize the importance of providing adequate sanitation facilities for girls, including the need for clean and private washrooms.
6. Ongoing Monitoring and Evaluation: Our commitment doesn’t end with the initial training. We will conduct follow-ups with schools and aim for annual visits to assess progress and continue supporting local schools in the future.
